OMC(Octyl methoxycinnamate) is approved worldwide and is the most frequently used as a strong UVB filter.It is an oil soluble,colorless,virtually odorless liquid,which remains a liquid at temperatures as low as -10℃ and can be easily incorporated in the oil phase of a sunscreen formulation.OMC boosts the SPF when used in combination with other UV filters.It is ideal for the formulation of water-resistant sunscreen products. OMC is an excellent solubilizer for crystalline UV filters,such as DHHB,BMDBM,DHBT,etc.
