However, the vitamin B6 in plants is mostly pyridoxine, while in humans and animals, it is mostly pyridoxal and pyridoxamine. Vitamin B6 is widely present in nature. Egg yolks, fish, meat, seeds, and grains (germs) have relatively high contents of this vitamin. Generally, the diet is not likely to be deficient in this vitamin. When there is a deficiency of vitamin B6, symptoms such as dermatitis, convulsions, and anemia may occur.
